## About

UNAI Atacama is a luxury tent resort located 5 km from the center of San Pedro de Atacama,
Chile. The name "UNAI" comes from the Andean Aymara cosmovision and means unity, the first
one, or the primordial. The project was conceived during the 2020 pandemic by founders Pablo
Carreño, María Jesús Jara and Patricio Novoa, and opened to guests in June 2025.

The property is situated at Aguas Calientes 207, Ayllu de Solor, San Pedro de Atacama,
with direct views of the Licancabur volcano. It operates on 100% solar energy and embraces
a philosophy of sustainable luxury — connecting guests with the desert environment while
offering world-class service and comfort.

## Accommodation

UNAI offers exclusive luxury tents designed to the highest standards. Each tent
provides absolute privacy, a private terrace with desert and volcano views, premium bedding,
and en-suite bathroom facilities. Capacity is limited to ensure an intimate, personalized
experience for each guest.

## Gastronomy

The UNAI restaurant is led by Chef Juan Pablo Mardones and Mora Jones. The culinary concept
is signature cuisine (cocina de autor) using fresh local ingredients and a curated selection
of Chilean wines. The restaurant is available to both hotel guests and outside visitors
(walk-ins welcome; see UNAI Restaurant below).

Exclusive experience: Dinner under the stars — a private table between the restaurant and
the observatory, offering signature cuisine beneath the clearest sky in the southern hemisphere.

## UNAI Restaurant

- Open to the public, dinner only: Monday and Wednesday to Sunday, 18:30–23:00 (last seating 21:30). Closed on Tuesdays.
- Tasting menus: 4 courses CLP 67,000 (CLP 92,000 with wine pairing) and 6 courses CLP 90,000 (CLP 125,000 with wine pairing). Both available in a vegetarian version.
- Walk-ins welcome. Dietary restrictions with 48 hours' notice. Children's menu available.
